includes a Fiber Node (OC-12) located within
the park. These facilities can deliver digital

With frontage on I-985, Tanners Creek
is accessed via Thurmon Tanner Parkway.
Thurmon Tanner Parkway is being upgraded
to a 4-lane parkway with a 15’ divided
median. A new diamond interchange (exit
14) has been approved on I-985 and will
be located 1,000 feet to the south of Tanners
Creek. |

Gilmer Memorial (GVL) ˆ Located
in Gainesville, GA, Gilmer Memorial has
two runways, 11-29 and 04-22 and is 6 miles
from Tanners Creek. Runway 04 has an NDB
and a localizer approach and is 5,500 feet
long. A full ILS (instrument landing system)
is scheduled for installation on runway
04 in 2005.
Briscoe Field (LZU) – Located in Lawrenceville,
GA, Briscoe Field has one runway, 07-25 and
is 15 miles from Tanner’s Creek. Runway
07-25 is 6,000 feet long and is equipped with
a precision approach (ILS).
Hartsfield International (ATL) – Located
in Atlanta, GA, 50 miles south of Tanners
Creek. Hartsfield, the busiest airport in
the world, offers thousand of domestic and
international flights weekly.
